Good response GJT. They evidently are running an underage sting in AL right now, so we all need to be careful. I heard on the radio yesterday that a sting was being held in Cullman.

A couple of general tips, age-related sting not withstanding:

*The whole "are you a cop" question. Completely worthless. For fun, answer yes. Most of the time I get "really?" back.

*It's almost impossible to prove in court who is on the other side of a non-voice message (this is key for any prosecution). Of course someone else had access to my phone. Google "how to spoof a number", I bet that's what happened.

*Until you show up in person, it's hard to prove you were the person being talked to. Even then, there's some ways around it.

Your specific call might be to the sting in Limestone County last week, so good job following your gut.
