Perhaps the Uber gift card would be an option to avoid things popping up on your credit card. I see them at most places that sell gift cards including grocery and drug stores.

I have heard some say that they have sent uber to a girl, but it has never been clear to me if they were putting their opsec at risk. I don't want to use anything that has my identity on it, so that means, just like SA membership, prepaid debit cards or something like them.

My Uber has a pseudonym that is like my name but not really. And it has my neighbors address 4 doors down.

My wife thinks is because I don't want strangers (drivers) knowing when I'm leaving my house empty, as a security measure.

I have a prepaid debit card linked to my Uber and I choose that one when I need to. I also use it for hotels.
