With respect to the recent Boston incident, no clients were caught up in the initial arrests. But clients who had given up their PII, and were in agency records, have been shitting their pants ever since. So the question of "safe vs not-safe" depends on the status of your PII. If you're already in an agency's records, visiting again won't change much other than your name moving to the top of the "recently visited" list. The lesson of recent events is that maintaining control of your PII is the best way to ensure long-term safety.

Following what others has said don't panic. Had it happen to me once. One thing I will add in addition. Is to block of all numbers, and if and when you do get those gory pictures. Delete and don't open to view them. Because I did, and it left me quite scared and on edge for over a year before I felt safe again.

Also if your house don't already have a camera / security system. Install one.

Not because anyone will come after your family, but because otherwise you yourself will be too stressed.

Yes!! Don't respond and don't panic! They will tell you they are some form of the Mexican mafia and they will send some gory pictures of what will happen to you if you don't send them money. I've had this happen twice, just block the number because they will continue to text you. Believe me. You will be fine (and your family).

Like SWs, escorts and to a lesser extent SBs, use an alter-ego or an untraceable nickname. The other thing is to maintain zero social presence on the internet.
