There is a certain angry element on this board that has been reviewing reviews with much more energy than they have been reviewing providers.

Are you not reporting those posts? There is a sure and certain way to shut them down. You report them, I throw a flag, they do it again, I throw another flag and put them on moderation. Reviewing reviews is not allowed on this forum, many of the guys doing it are unmoderated senior members who's posts are not seen by us.

Report the post, put the person who did it on ignore and move on.

To be fair I share your point on the constant half assed promotion of the same girls. We all see it. I simply ignore those. A half baked "review" means squat to a seasoned monger.

Ignoring a post you do not care for or agree with and moving on is a mature approach and one that I certainly respect. There is a certain angry element on this board that has been reviewing reviews with much more energy than they have been reviewing providers. There are some legitimate points & I have & will adjust my reviews accordingly, but there also appears to be an unhealthy fixation upon this small group of very popular providers. The response of this angry element appears to be more emotional than rational. There is likely more going on here than meets the eye than simple annoyance or a desire to steer the review posts in a certain direction. It is often best to not engage with unconstructive posts, but, whether I am a senior member or a newbie, I am reluctant to allow myself to be pushed around by self-important little people who are motivated by petty resentment and anger. That sort of behavior does not contribute to a free exchange of information regarding our collective experiences.

I suspect the dialogue taking place over the last couple weeks has dissuaded more than a couple posters from the forum. That may be what some want, but is that healthy for the forum?

I think the concern is the flood of similar-sounding praise for H, C and L from people that seem to focus their posts on these providers. And then review posts that sound so vague that they almost belong in the Massage forum.

If the John is promoting someone for there benefit how do we take it as valid as to make a good decision. Lord knows some use the board for that and their benefit. The number of reviews and not having a long list of BAD reviews is pretty telling. Nobody is stopping people from leaving a bad review should they have one. But let's not use logic.

We know Some of these members have more than one profile, they could use one of their lesser known profiles to write the real review with details and price but they don't. This leads us to the real questions about reviews. Is it a valid review without details to help the members make a good decision. Is this provider who I want to spend money on? In response the reviewing members might say PM for details.
