At a recent trip to the FC and LS I talked to multiple girls about going to the VIP but they all seem to ask for a lot more than usual. I am not sure if it because it was close to Christmas or if there is some price fixing going on. None of the girls I talked to (I am selective and only talk to girls over 7-8) would go under 4 $. One girl would not go under $7.

I find higher pricing quotes all over the map at LS. Got to hold firm at that 300 level. I've bit at the 350-400 couple times but only for smoke shows in my eyes. And then never repeat. FC I have pretty consistent luck with 250-300 on most visits. Those girls are who I look to repeat with. Occasionally I get the 500+ quote. I usually have a quick chuckle and politely pass.

The Cubans are a detriment to the clubs not due to the fact that they may or may not be lowering prices, I actually hope they are able to lower the prices to within reason, (I do not know one way or the other if they are doing that because I don't communicate with girls who have limited English or use a phone app) the reason they are a detriment is because they can easily use the excuse of not understanding you to ROB you.

Stopped in at the cricket for the Christmas party Friday, cubans were working along with a couple robs who have been mentioned here. Passed on both.

If the Cubans are price fixing, does any one have an idea of their going rate at the FC?? I think the FC has the highest Tip Out in the area. The FC tip Out is close to $200 if the dancer goes back for more than two songs in the VIP, if I recall correctly. So I am kinda of curious what the Cubans charge for CBJ or FS at FC?

Further when I bought one of these girls a drink she drank part of it and then took it over to the table with the other girls and left it there. Similarly when I bought food for a girl she ate a small amount and got to go box which she also brought over to the other girls.

Interesting to hear that people here seem to be having negative experiences with the Cubanas. I've been going to Cuban strip clubs in Florida for years, in fact just got back from a trip down there recently. I specifically like the Pompano trio (DD's, BT's & Cheetah's, in that order) but there are lots more from there to Miami.

Anyway, the Cuban strip club racket down there is off the charts. Prices are set but everyone knows that. In Pompano you'll get great, no song count FS with a drop-dead gorgeous Latina for $200 total ($50 to house, $150 to girl) on dayshifts and $250-$300 on nightshifts, with all of the increase being the house take. It's amazing. You can get super sexy, aggressive dances at your table or barstool for $10 each if you want to sample the girls prior to going back.

And this is all in very nice looking, well maintained, updated clubs that feel like Vegas. With big to huge VIP booths that are totally private and have stuff to clean up afterwards.

My experience has been different. I like Cubans and Latinas and adding a number of Latinas to the black and white girls is a nice option. I also had a nice time at DD's when I was in Florida last year.

The majority of the Cubans in the Detroit clubs I did not find attractive either because they were not thin or they were older then what I prefer. However I did find 3 girls that were attractive.

None of them spoke much English, but I can speak a little Spanish and that seemed to make them feel comfortable.

When it came time for dances the first girl wouldn't negotiate below $450.

The second girl wouldn't negotiate below $300.

The third girl negotiated to $200, which I agreed to and we had a very nice time in the VIP.

These interactions happened on different nights and with different groups of Cubans. I explained to the higher priced girls that if they would take me to the VIP now they would cover their tip out and make more money. They pushed back on that saying they pool their earnings as a group. So there were 4 of them working and if she charged me $300 she would give $75 to each of the other 3 girls. Same thing for her if she didn't go to the VIP but her friends did she would still have earnings. She said that is how they all know the prices they go for.

I wouldn't overthink having Cuban girls in the club shouldn't ruin anything. If you see a girl that you find attractive and her price is reasonable move forward and if not decline. That is no different from any other kind of girl.

Detroit is not Miami where in Florida many people are of Cuban / Latino descent. That is much less true with the many Black and White guys in Detroit, they may not like Latina's as much.

Also you can't really exist in Michigan without speaking and learning English.

The climate in Miami is the same as Cuban, but many of these girls will not enjoy the ice and snow of a Detroit winter and will not stay here that long.

Even the fixed cartel style pricing they might try to implement is not likely to succeed. It works in Florida as over 80% of the girls are Cuban but as long they make up less than 50% of a club fixed pricing doesn't work, and a good negotiator can always find a girl to knock the price down.

City of Inkster told FC Management, smoking and hookah are not allowed inside the club, and FC Management complied, even upstairs.

Interesting. FC sold the 2nd level* as a "cigar bar" to get around the indoor smoking ban. So if they ceased, why does Bogie's and H8 N get a pass?

* FC did a huge renovations about a decade ago, and that project turned the 2nd level into a casino. They were going for the Monte Carlo feel (dancers in gowns, roulette wheels, chandeliers). Lasted about two months before the state shut it down. The Cigar Bar came in the aftermath.

I was told that FC had to apply for a Hookah Smoking License a few weeks back.

Given the speed of Government, that may take a while. The No Smoking Policy doesn't concern me that much, but the Cuban Invasion is worrisome to me.

Also had a New Black Dancer mention the dreaded T Word (Trafficking) a few weeks back. Like in the context of, I heard that a lot of the dancers in this club are being trafficked. Not a good place to be.

You know, I'm not trying to be a dick, but words have meaning, you know? If it's voluntary (specifically because of your use of the term "recruited" then it is NOT the "dreaded T word". There is a world of difference between people that are actually trafficked and people who are looking to make money. They are not slaves, as they only have to pay back a portion of the investment (kickback). Sounds more like a pimp, than a trafficker. Just because your midwestern sensibilities find this type of profiteering distasteful, doesn't men that the people who are profiting from it (recruiter and the ladies) find it distasteful. These women could work in a club in Mexico and make 1/10th of what theyt do in a Detroit club. We need to be careful what words we use to cast dispersions. Words have meaning, and by your very definition, this is NOT trafficking.

Maybe there's something I'm missing here, but why would they even need someone like that -- let's call him a "manager" -- at all?

Clubs will take just about any lady to dance, right? So a group of them gets together and decides to coordinate their efforts, be it all going to the same club, spreading out across different clubs, touring the country to share travel expenses or whatever. What do they need a middle-man for?

Accordingly, I struggle to think those relationships remain entirely "voluntary," as you put it. Seems like the only way to ensure such a relationship continues is to have some sort of hovering threat of doom if partnership terms aren't followed, and therein lies the problem. Again, though, I might be missing something. Such business is way above my head.

It has been notable that a lot of the Midwest boards here have mentioned Cubans in recent weeks -- here, Chicago, Milwaukee, and so on. I have had some other stuff going on in my life, so I haven't been getting to clubs lately, but it does feel like it's somehow all coordinated just from the discussion.

Was told a few weeks ago the FC was applying for a Hookah Smoking License. Nothing in government is quick, so I guess we wait and see. I don't worry about the No Smoking Policy, but I am concerned over the Cuban Invasion in the Detroit Area, specially at the FC. If the prices are driven down, I am afraid we will see many of the 8-9's working the FC disappear.

She basically said there is a lot of trafficking going on in this club. Was told by a few veteran dancers that this December has been the WORST ever for their business. Not sure what is going on?

P. S. How is BTs in terms of smokiness? I'm not OCD about smoke, but H8 is disgusting.

I've been to BT's several times this year, mostly day shift, and I have not encountered smoking or tobacco smoke at all. This is important to me, as I do not want to smell like an ashtray when I get home.

There may be vaping going on surreptitiously in the common area or in the girls' dressing room; I could taste it on some girls' breath.
