This is just my humble opinion. In no certain order, Michigan and especially Wayne County is a very LIBERAL (across the board) area controlled by Democrats and as long as the clubs are generating high tax revenue for the smaller cities and no massive headline crimes are being repeated there is generally a liberal, libertarian hands off political ideology in some areas of Wayne county. Detroit is also very close to Canada where its pretty open and more liberal in certain areas. Detroit metro is also a very non-religious diverse region of the country where live and let live ring king in many areas. Add the fact that this is the headquarters for the Big 3 automakers with blue collar union jobs again (non-religious or live and let live people for the most part) Strip clubs and the fun are part of the culture in this area and have been for decades. Many dancers come from Toledo, Cleveland, Indiana etc. And this just adds to the towns economy and keeps sex work in a controlled safe environment which is the prevailing ideology. I don't mean to be mostly political, but you will rarely have the fun like here in CONSERVATIVE Republican cities and states. Texas is 1 exception but its just mostly the liberal cities ie. Houston, Dallas. Jerry Jones even likes to have a little fun. LOL I'm sure there are other "reasons", but that's my 2 cents. Happy hunting!

It should be clarified to say the suburban Detroit clubs are better because the Detroit clubs have gone the way of the rest of the US! Extras shut down by Uncle!

I'm relatively new to the strip club scene and this forum has been excellent to help guide the process. I have had nice luck overall, but wanted to reinforce what many others have said about up front negotiations. As I get more comfortable, I have been asking more direct questions on expectations and am finding some dancers will directly answer the questions and others will deflect or get a bit seductive without directly answering the question.

Let's talk about Chicago in the Chicago thread.

Some guys like girls who approach them. I don't see any issue in a girl asking me for company and politely declining.

While all of us find different things attractive in a girl, there is a pecking order in the club. The most desirable girls rarely go approaching guys, because they have many guys that want their time and attention. Why I do Chicago more than Detroit is simple: Chicago's clubs are a 75-120 minute drive from my home base. Detroit's are a six-hour drive (12 round trip) or a 90-minute flight both ways. I basically have to box out two days to do any clubbing in Detroit. If I'm lucky, I'm working there sometimes, but I don't have a ton of work there. If I'm lucky, I get there once or twice a year.

Chicago, meanwhile, with a number of clubs open until 5 am, I can get a few hours of decent clubbing in with only two hours of driving and a 9 o'clock departure.

Detroit is way better than Chicago. But I don't live near Detroit. I live close enough to Chicago to hit the clubs there often enough. It is what it is.
