Oh. Just remembered another sort of RV thing. About 25 years ago I used to work for a company that had a big box truck (think 15" Uhaul) that had a pass thru door to the back of it from the cab. About 20 years ago I was storing an RV on my property for a snowbird, and he told me I could take it out and drive it around or go camping whenever I wanted. This is back in the days when Backpage / Craigslist was the main source for us. I arranged a car date with a girl and rolled up in the RV. She was stoked! Our 1/2 hr car date turned into an all night hangout. We got some beers, parked it and had a hell of a time. Parked in a Walmart lot, and ended up sleeping there. In my experience they don't have a place to use because of family (usually kids) or a significant other most of the time. The other times it's because they're homeless.

The car date girls I know do it for the reason you mentioned.
