But what about STD testing? Is there a way to do that anonymously / securely?

Probably can avoid some part of a paper trail by paying cash, but the real issue is I believe most (all?) testers want to see I'd?

Nightmare scenario would be a positive result. I believe some are notifiable, I. E. SO would potentially be informed, if you give real info?

I know this is a stale topic, but one thing I ran into while doing Anon testing is this. Bought a test kit off Ebay or Amazon. Registered it to my Sugar I'd. All good. But then a week or two later, here comes fast and furious emails from the testing site. They said I had something! WTF! So within hours I was in a redi-Clinic getting retested and treated for said disease.

Now here is where the fun begins. Right away the some Nimrod from the State Health Department starts texting my GV number. The dude was like a dog with a bone and would not let up. He wanted to see to it that I got treated. He would not take my word for the fact that I went and got treated and retested. This debate went on for DAYS and eventually I got the test results back from a real lab and it was NEGATIVE. So the dumb at # from the HD was working with a False Positive. Plus I had been needlessly treated. The dude pressed on and would not quit, stating that I should have waited for him and then I could have gotten treated for FREE at the HD. Genius!

Obviously I couldn't wander into the State HD for treatment without proper I'd. And since the testing was done under the Sugar I'd I had no way to do that. Might have been able to get the clinic to treat me anyway, but that would mean linking the Sugar I'd to IRL info. So eventually the HD guy told me he knew where I lived. It was the Sugar I'd address and I think he sent an agent or something there to "find me" and get me treated.

But the Sugar I'd worked, they never found me, BUT there were consequences. Plus no doubt if they could every match the Sugar I'd to IRL they could do something dumb like impersonation charges.

So yeah, Anon STD testing can be done, but if you pop Positive for anything, there are consequences!
