I wasn't there for a haircut so the old Vietnamese lady took me around the corner, as someone mentioned, to their facial and massage spa. Nice place but at the time I was not in the mood for ancient Viet and excused myself. I might try again, because it was a nice quiet place.

You can either park in the nearby Maunakea Municipal Parking structure or else there is metered street parking, such as by the Sing Cheong Yuan Bakery at 1027 Maunakea (which had hot Chinese girls working by the way):

As soon as this happens to someone else I will confirm. Just don't want guys walking in and making things awkward. I have a new theory about what happened. The hair gal knows I'm single and live alone. She knew well ahead of time that I am coming in for my haircut. So she made sure this lady was there for me to meet. My conclusion was it was just a setup for a hookup. Looking for a sugar daddy thing. When I go back again we will see if the old auntie is there at the same time.

I believe this shop is Maunakea Beauty Salon / Diane Beauty Salon.

In Maunakea Market Place in Chinatown.
