I know this sounds obsessive but I keep statistics on my hobbling experience. For the most part, for every 10 attempts, I am averaging a return text rate of 1 or 2. Out of the 1 or 2, my success rate in landing an appt with an agreed price is less than half. So you need a black book with about 20 options to be successful.

But I've gotten smarter as time goes on. If an Escort Alligator ad fails to mention a specific town, they are mostly deposit seekers. As a million people before me have preached, never pay a deposit. If a STG ad only mentions a region (like South Jersey instead of Mt. Laurel), chances are they are scammers.

For the most part, I have had success with providers that have been previously reviewed by a fellow monger. For one, you know they are real, and you know if their pictures are old (most of them) and generally the service is above average.
