Seriously I'm not victim shaming anyone. Please all of you grow up. He met a total stranger who sells sex for money on the internet. She says come meet me now after midnight in a dark alley and without a second thought or hesitation you run right to her spot she suggested because your so desperate to get laid. So yes there is fault of this guy. Me personally and other guys here who come across as somewhat street smart to this game would never let a hooker tell us to go to a dark alley after midnight. So please stop acting like this guys shoulder to cry on.

"Should have known better. Got what he deserved!" I don't think so. Not helpful. We live in glass houses. Let us learn, make better decisions and support. We're not talking paper cuts, rather serious consequences of what can go terribly wrong in this arena.

A few words of caution. The Women on SA / SB are not meant to be easy. It takes a little sifting to discern who is a risk and who is not. Even so, you can be fooled, and I have regretted the few times I got fooled although I have never had the misfortune that poor monger had. My steadfast precaution now is a daytime meet and greet over coffee. And sometimes, despite my innate desire to fuck nearly every female of a proper age on the planet, I save myself a world of hurt by not following up after the M&G. It is easy to hide behind texts. Way harder to hide in a 45 minute conversation. It is an investment of time that usually ends up being very well spent, in my experience. Starbucks is your friend.

Posts: 122I agree! We don't know how the monger communicate with these thugs. Let's support each other. It happens to the best of us. Stuff like that worries me a lot and I put my guards up. There is a couple of girls on Seeking, I suspect are up to no good. Most of them are Latinas. The descriptions doesn't match what they're saying on the chat etc.

You got to be kidding me. Blaming the victim, are we? I, for one, am glad he took the risk of reporting these thugs. Hopefully he doesn't end up paying a further price for doing so.

Posts: 702I tend to agree with this. If you meet someone who has a sketchy profile, don't be surprised when sketchy (or worse) situations arise.

Posts: 189Well its his own fault imo. Seeking is a place you pay for to meet higher class woman than the trash on stg and listcrawler so when a girl from there wanting 400 says come meet me in an alley after midnight that should raise some red flag and if this person can't see that then you deserve what you get. Its people like him is why scammers and thieves exist.

I'm conflicted on cash apps. Transactions can be traced bidirectionally.
The judge ordered him to stay away from the alley? Oh yeah, that will definitely put an end to his criminal behavior. As noted in the posts I shared, I think this guy is moving around in a car and operating in multiple cities / towns.
I have my ways of avoiding such situations but we all let our guards down sometimes. Let's be careful out there. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, guess what? It's a duck!

Posts: 307It's everywhere now; even referring to the girl as a "hooker":

"Seeking dot com bills itself as a "luxury dating site for the beautiful, wealthy, and successful. " It has a page with tips for how to date online safely. " LOL.

These stories have been rising (which is what the reddit SB dolts don't get why we post profiles here); including ones with homicides in CA and TX from SA robberies. I wonder if the state (fed or otherwise) start putting it on their radar.
Also, finally. Maybe a good reason to use Venmo. If cash was used instead of Venmo, they probably never find the robbers 10 mths later.
Granted, ways around that too but these idiots don't know about that.

I believe this article called it as seeking, if not other sites do mention the site.

Bro the site is full of online scammers. You're not adding any value, unless you met her and got ripped off.
