I don't know the specific circumstances of Mae, but in general these places get noticed when neighbors or nearby businesses complain about traffic etc. Then they are investigated. About 5 years ago a few different places on the east side (anderson) were simultaneously shut down because of this. Lots of crime out there but God forbid letting a 55 year old get a handy from a provider!
