Not even so much how OC works, it's how the judicial system works. Judge isn't going to issue a search warrant for anything, unless there is some kind of evidence. Could be as simple as a real person informant, that has knowledge of the business. This person has to have a real name, someone that is also deemed by the judge to be a reliable witness and isn't a competitor of a competing parlor trying to take out the parlor next door.

There is more, I'm sure, but anonymous members of this offshore forum, the web server logs, unless something has changed, admin2 claims to have never been turned over to LE or anyone else. A claim I have no reason to disbelieve, as this is offshore and why would this forum admins participate in some issue in a foreign country. Absolutely, zero benefit to the forum admin, and could only lead to issues should the admin participate.

Even if they could tie one of us to a forum handle, they would need our cooperation, which not sure any of us would cooperate. Nobody knows, if what I wrote about any one parlor is the truth, or me trying to send business to a parlor by writing a fake report..

There are other forums, other review boards and hell, the city business license department that keeps track of every massage parlor.

Giving out the address or any other information here or elsewhere makes little difference, aside from making it easier or harder for users of this forum to know where to go, or not to go.

This is my last reply to this dumb issue. Let the admin and / or mod sort it out. My understanding is they do not want the phone numbers of the places posted, but location of the place, who you saw, what took place, and what you paid is the point of this forum.

In order for anything we post here to be used as evidence in a court, they would have to tie specific comments to individuals, and then cross reference that to other evidence.

So tying a specific IP address to a specific individual and then proving that. Yeah, the amount of time and money that would need to be spent, the po po will use other means (code enforcement) to shut a place down. Will they read here, sure, will they use it to prosecute, I doubt it Will they learn of a new place here with or without the stupid notations. Perhaps.

I won't say It couldn't happen, but the likelihood is slim to none.
