I got a random text but from a different scam. I am sure they got my number from my mongering. This "girl" just starts a conversation like we knew each other. Claimed I gave her my number at a party. You should get a new number and tell everyone that your phone is getting spammed and that you got a new number to ensure your account was safe. A little pain in the a $$ but I believe the best way.

Yes, this is quite common. I get them on my monger phone regularly and mentioned it a while back. "New flavors", " Sweet new treats" all kinds of stuff. Most are from places near China town but some are and or W. All you can do is reply to "STOP" and then block the number. Stay safe.
