It is getting frustrating. If anyone has had this issue, or knows how to stop it, please let me know.

I got a text once. Start a conversation with them. That stopped it completely for me. 1st and only text I got from them after my first visit.

I block that. A text comes from (262) 2 Xx-3938. I block that. I get a text from (559) 3 xx-9967. I block that. I get a text from (502) 8 XX-5738. I block that. I get a text from. And so on and so on and so on.

I've had some success with anonymous or unknown numbers text me with an app called Youmail. The downside is that you need to have the person in your contacts if you want to get a call from them when in maximum screening mode.

When I block a phone number I get no calls and texts from a blocked phone number.

I got a random text but from a different scam. I am sure they got my number from my mongering. This "girl" just starts a conversation like we knew each other. Claimed I gave her my number at a party. She sent me a selfie, it was of a pretty Asian girl, the kind you see on the ads for massage services. I told her it wasn't me and she said hold on and "checked" the number. Supposedly it was one digit off and she apologized but continued texting me being real flirty. She asked what I did and I told her I was in law enforcement on special assignment cracking down on wire fraud and scamming of elder citizens by foreigners. Funny, the texts stop immediately. LOL.

You should get a new number and tell everyone that your phone is getting spammed and that you got a new number to ensure your account was safe. A little pain in the a $$ but I believe the best way.

Yes, this is quite common. I get them on my monger phone regularly and mentioned it a while back. "New flavors", " Sweet new treats" all kinds of stuff. Most are from places near China town but some are and or W. All you can do is reply to "STOP" and then block the number. Stay safe.
