I got pulled over once after a girl just came up to my window and tried to talk thru the closed window. I was on Pulaski stopped the the lightning Wilkens, red light trying to turn right. A girl crossed Pulaski walks up to my closed drivers window and teies talking to me. I'm shaking my head no and waiving her away the whole time. I turn rightnon Wilkens, right on Catherine and a cop pulls me over. The two more join in. License, registration, . , All good. Then I'm asked so you know who that was? "No". Do you know she is a known prostitute? "No". What are you doing here? "Going to get lunch". The cop goes back to talk to the Supervisor who comes up with bad cop attitude. Why are you here, I could arrest you, do you want to get shot, . ,. I have him the same answers and kept my mouth shut.

Have your shit together, have your story solid, and keep you mouth shut.

Everything I've explained was from my personal experience so believe it or leave it. There will be those on here that will tell you that your experience that you've shared is bogus and is not to be believed. Oh well, let them learn the hard way. I'm good and thank you for sharing.

Look, everything everyone has said thus far on this topic has some kernel of truth. The original post that generated this shit storm was someone saying he was concerned about being arrested if a cop saw a known SW jump into your car unsolicited.

No one is suggesting picking up a SW directly in front of a cop (actually you are), that is like poking an uncaged bear, unnecessary as you do not know what the bear is going to do. Whether a cop pulls you over then and takes the effort to arrest you depends on many many factors we have no control over. How he was feeling that day, whether he's a fresh rookie or veteran, whether elected officials (including the commissioner) has some mandate to remove drugs and prostitution off the streets, whether local residents have been complaining about drugs and prostitution in their neighborhood, etc. Veteran cops know that arresting dope boys, SWs or johns is like building a sand wall on the beach to prevent the tide from coming in and is not going to eliminate the oldest profession in the world or the drug problem. Everyone will be back on the streets in short order. Besides, it is a lot of work, they have to drag your sorry arses in (both you and SW), call for a tow truck, do all that got damn paperwork, even show up in court later and it is still debatable whether the charges will stick. A lot of work for a drop in the ocean. Also all these things keep them away from what they like to do best, drinking coffee, eating donuts, cruising the streets, looking omnipresent and behaving like a modern cowboy. Would they do it in a specific instance? Who knows, they might have a bug up their arse and one or more of the above-mentioned factors may be true, or, they might want to just put a scare into you to stay away, a nice happy medium for them as they achieve most goals without too much effort, at least for the immediate future.

Back to the original post that generated this shit storm. None of us like SWs to choose us, we want to choose the SW. It's like hunting, how much fun would it be if the deer picked you and walked up in front of you waiting to get shot? So moral of the story? Keep your doors locked while cruising or stopped and open them only for your SW of choice when there are no cops around.

You can't, you post your info, they post theirs, everybody reads both and then they decide what to believe. You can report any post you want and I'll look at it but don't call them out in the forum because it never ends.

Wait until you see a cop come around, and then make your scoop in front of them and let us know how that worked out. Let me help you out a little bit. Those streets are posted with warnings of arrest for presumed solicitation. There are streets that do not have such warnings but you will suffer the same fate. It's your money and time, do as you wish, but don't try to convince others that know first hand that everything I've stated is untrue. And to be honest, and in defense of cops, many cops nowadays have college degrees and are not dumb as you've suggested. I think it is us who are dumb for tricking off with these scanks. I don't want to sound condescending, but do you people know the difference between and arrest and probable cause? Initial dude said that you could be "busted " (meaning. Arrested) for a SW getting in your car. That statement is horseshit. Now you people are arguing his case, but speaking on probable cause. Which is entirely different. Lived in the city all my life and from a family of street dudes. Police create charge histories with felonies. Things related to CDS possession and distribution or violence. They usually target dudes in the neighborhood whom they see frequently, know are up to something, but can't prove it yet. No cop is trying to create a charge history on a monger for a misdemeanor.
