Had couple days off work so decided to stroll the K ave to see what summer has to offer. Good ones get scooped fast. U- turned as fast as I could and she was already scooped. Not sure it was real as her back was to me until I past. Is there a higher class, non zombie SW working that area or was it an illusion? Like an Oasis in the dessert.

Mongering on K Avenue for about a decade, I can attest to an occasional sighting of a Unicorn; that well dressed, moderately attractive and clean woman standing out like a sore thumb. On more than one occasion, I had the privilege of a unicorn accepting my invitation to feed her a protein snack for a standard K Avenue donation. Sorry to hear that you were unlucky in your most recent encounter. This is what keeps us coming back, that rare occasion to find a unicorn amongst the drug addicted great unwashed SW's that make up the majority of the sightings from our car windows. All good. Starting in Boston I've seen SW's all the way to NY and back, when you've got a good one you definitely have to max her out. Boston's going through some turmoil right now and Philly is looking like easy pickings. My first time mongering in the Bronx this time last year I was just walking around and eaters were falling out of the trees. Middle of the night last year I got $20 head from an Egyptian and that was just the going price for quality head the whole trip ($20 head is possible here but not when the girls conversate and agree not to settle for that much). If true, its sad. Last I seen her was about a month ago or more and she didn't exactly have a place to stay and was pretty thin. She went off the rails when her brother passed I believe. I stand by my post. I try to see both sides of the coin. If you read the post, I also pointed out various locations where I saw a total of fifteen or more workers.

I agree they all may not be everybody's first choice but they are there and available for those that may want them. Many of them can be found daily at the locations I pointed out. I see those same girls getting picked up. So they are still there. Just have to find them.

There are always choices available. Maybe not my choice or yours but they are there for those that want them. With the EL being painted that does add to the problem. The seasoned vets on here know when conditions change the girls move around. I don't know of any that put their addiction on hold till things return the way they were. Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.

I have only been there one time a few months ago. I found the choice of talent to be all over the place. I was impressed with the volume of walkers. Some were little and some big.
