It's a break to clean up, fix makeup / outfit, catch up on laundry, rest, snack, smoke break, etc. For most reputable bookers, they don't schedule the girls back to back. One of the more important reasons is to avoid inadvertent monger to monger contact / interaction and to stave off unwanted neighbor attention. On a busy day, imagine if you were a neighbor there and saw different men going in and out of the same room at the top of the hour every hour for the majority of the day. Not to say that spacing 10 - 15 minutes helps much. But better than everyone hour on the hour IMO.
