They don't want to be friends, so just make a short text and be specific about your ability to meet. I usually do something like:

"Do you have time today to meet for HHR at around 3 pm?

Dude, its just a professional interaction. Usually go "NAME, can I get your HH rate? TIA" Sometimes I get extra social "Hey bby, rates for HH and location? Gracias.
