Whether you pay a deposit electronically or pay a deposit in person, it's still a deposit. So the advice from the others applies here as well. Pay in full at the time of the "date". Some say pay at the beginning, others say to wait until the deed is done. Personally I pay up front so the provider knows I'm not going to "accidentally" forget to pay, but others swear by holding payment until you get what was agreed. Just don't give her anything before you're alone with her in the room.
