With her I really think it comes down to how she feels about you through your comms and maybe even your looks. Almost all of them can be negotiated now. The ones that can't almost always are not worth what they are asking. You have to be willing to move on if they won't come down to what you believe to be a reasonable price. Also, using her as an example, if it's $400 for several hours and multiple pops, it's more of a value for the amount of time. In any case, you do what your budget allows.
