This is a well known scam ring that's been around for a while. Used to be called the horror harlots.

They'll string you along in texts for a while and then it's a classic deposit scam. Usually they'll give an address at an apartment by pike market. You say you're there and then they block you. Could also extort you for more money if you send a face pic. Do not engage.
