You're right about the prices. I've only ever seriously played in greater Seattle area and overseas (SE Asia and Europe) and seattle providers just don't give you good bang for your buck. This is mostly due to the area becoming a tech hub for high-paid workers driving up prices across the board. All you can do is earn more $$$ or relocate.
