Yes, both these thoughts are all good points. But there's a few bigger grey areas to consider. Yes, many Airbnb locations have nosey neighbors and cameras. Just like all hotels have front desk clerks and cameras. But just like many hotels, many B&Bs don't care as long as the revenue is there. Ha, kinda like finding a dog sitter or walker. You might use an app to find someone good, but the next time you need them, you go directly to the person you hired the last time and bypass the app fee. Kinda like bypassing the Air part of a B&B experience.

Not saying anyone in particular is doing this, but I know a few that do. The owners or managers of some of these B&Bs love bypassing the app and getting paid in cash with no taxes. It happens more than you might think. Also, we have a few really great traveling escorts visit us and they stay in nice hotels. Guess what? These providers may be Platinum or Diamond members of that hotels loyalty programs. Nice hotels could care less what happens inside the room if the are getting their average daily rate and keeping a top tier member happy.

Finally, in regards to the provider mentioned in my post, she is a low volume provider with zero drama and flys under most radars. All those items make a huge impact. Not so many suitors, no shouting, no dboys stopping by, no odd smells or weird sounds, no tweaking in the hallways, composed demeanor, cash payments on time, never asking for special accommodations, well enough dressed, looking like you belong there and even engaging with owners and staff go a long way to no one actually giving a shit what they do or who comes to visit. Sadly, this is what 90% of providers fail to understand. Got to run this like a business and plan some. When you think about it, a hotel or motel almost alway affords more anonymity than an AirBnB. A hotel is 500 little boxes stacked on top of the other. People coming and going, minding their own business. Staff not giving a shit and not being able to tell you apart from the next asshole.

A residential location is totally different. The neighbors are nosy. They are there every day, watching the johns come and go. Even a b&b mogel is going to take a casual interest in who is in their house.
