Oh, and it should go without saying, but never pay anything to them electonrically in advance. If you ever send a deposit or pay gas money or babysitter money before seeing them, you're getting scammed. Ask them to meet you at a gas station and you'll fill up their tank, or tell them you'll add extra $ for the sitter after your date. 100% of the time they'll stop responding since they aren't interested in meeting, just scamming you. I don't have a link because I blocked her, but _Atlanta is crazy and I would highly recommend you avoid her. Motel / Hotel room, you can book it using credit card points or frequent flyer miles if you travel a lot. I use my credit card to pay all my normal expenses every month, and pay off the card every month, then use the points to book rooms for SB dates (I don't tell the SB that, I use the fact that I'm "paying" for a room to negotiate a lower price if they don't host).

The hotels near the airport have "Dayuse" rates that are sometimes a little cheaper than an overnight rate and can be booked before earlier than the normal checkin time of 3pm. dayuse.com to check rates on those. Very early on I considered AirBNB but they've fucked their pricing so much since the pandemic it's cheaper for me to just get a hotel. If you frequent the same hotel enough, you can sometimes earn rewards points through them (I tend to stick with Choice hotels as they are budget friendly but I know the guys who travel a ton for work use their Hilton or Marriot reward points for fun).
