I feel bad for the guy, but not too bad.

Part of the reason I do strip clubs way more than escorts -- I think the last time I saw an escort was a decade ago -- is the risks involved in the escort game, as well as the work required if you want to mitigate the risks. If anything, this is a reminder: Do your research, particularly if you have a lot to lose. I know some of you are willing to TOFTT; I'm not. Obviously it very much sucks for him and he's in a bad spot now, but it's not unrecoverable. The school kinda had to do what it did; parents, particularly in well-to-do suburbs and of girls, are not going to let their daughters spend a lot of time around a guy with any sort of sexual impropriety on his record, no matter how good of a coach he is. But he can probably make the leap to the men's college game as a Division 3 assistant or something, perhaps out of state, have no issues and eventually get back on a path to head coaching if he wants. He'll get through the legal issues; assuming he has no priors, he's clearly been successful otherwise and should get off with a lenient penalty. Whatever happens with his home life happens.

It could have been far worse, and he can sell it as such if he needs to. He wasn't doing anything pervy with his players, at least that we know of. He wasn't pursuing a minor. Dude just wanted to get laid. When we're honest with ourselves, we all do. He just went about it kinda wrong.

Once again, to be found guilty, the prosecutor must provide evidence that your intent was some form of sex for something of value. If you never ask for some form of sex, there is no evidence. It is perfectly legal to pay an escort to talk, dance, meet in hopes of a real relationship because I'm captain save a hole, you can openly meet an escort in a hotel room for purposes that do not involve sex. Do not talk or text about "multiple pops" as the coach did. I meet holes to save their souls. You have no evidence to prove otherwise.

We're pretty fucked up as a society when we condone pornography, drag queens, and keeping sexual identity from parents in elementary schools, but won't allow two consenting adults to make a business transaction on sex. I believe that it's another way for the feminists to strip away our masculinity and keep our everyday lives in complete celibacy. Politicians will never change the laws because they're afraid of losing their wives votes even though they're refusing to have sex with them. I could go on with other examples of how this double standard is taking place. What I want to know is why the police think this is a good use of tax payer dollars when our kids are dropping dead from fentanyl overdoses.

Of course, a woman in a "dating" situation would never admit to engaging in "an act of sexual contact for anything of value". Same for the upstanding, wholesome, "ladies" who use their attractiveness and "sexual contact" to lure a man into providing them with the lifestyle of their dreams, only to "lose interest" later, proving that they were just sloring themselves out to get "something of value".

I would FULLY support the police under four (4) conditions:

1 - They had set this up as an underage sting. Meaning monger was responding to an ad or looking for sex from someone under the age of 18.

2 - If there was an actual victim of HUMAN TRAFFICKING involved.

3 - Illegal narcotics were involved.

4 - Other criminal activity was involved IE... illiegal firearms or robbery.

If any of those conditions existed. Then throw the book at him.

I look at it this way. What if the coach had been on a dating site. He met up with the woman at her hotel. He then took the woman to a fancy restaurant bought her a lobster dinner and drinks. They then went back to his house or her hotel and had consensual sex. Is that a crime?

If that is a crime... then IMO then any sex that is not for the sole purpose of procreation could then be a criminal act. If we have two (2) consenting adults where is the CRIME?

Also, doesn't this mean anyone who performs a service in exchange for cash or anything of value also guilty of a crime? Are we going to lock up plumbers, electricians, carpenters, doctors and dentists? Hell I know some employees are treated worse by their employer under worse conditions than what most prostitutes experience when they perform their job... does that mean employers are guilty of a criminal act?

Another option would have been for him to say if this date is on the up and up... meet me at (somewhere close by) and lets have lunch, coffee, or a drink. If they bail it wasn't meant to be.

Saw this headline as a friend of mine has a daughter who played for the guy. The story doesn't have many details of the operation other than it was on March 28th and 5 guys were busted. Anyone have anymore info on where and how?

But don't be fooled, it absolutely doesn't matter even if you don't say anything more than " hi, can I come over " to a provider. Just talking to a provider or showing up will get you busted if they really want to.

Just another great reason why I'd have never or would ever go to a girls place. If I can't pick you up and she willing gets in my car. She isn't worth it. And yes, even with that, could still get busted.

It is illegal to offer "anything of value" (roses, $, loans) in exchange for a sex act. During a sting their goal is to get you to talk about both. With someone new you should just say you would like to meet. If they push you to say what you want to do "baby", just say you want to meet. You have not broken the law. If she continues to push you to ask for a sex act, it is probably a cop/sting. When you meet do the LE check and negotiate. If you can't come to terms, leave. If you get arrested, say nothing except, "I want an attorney because they will continue to get you to confess. That is their goal. Cops just arrest, ticket, and write a report. The DA can and likely will drop charges if you have not broken the definition of the law. Jury instructions require jurors to agree that the prosecutor has proven that definition. This guy screwed up. I have been arrested, ticketed, fingerprinted, mugshots, searched, locked up in a jail cell, my things tested for drug residue, (and I'm white) released after 6 hours, and when I met with the DA everything dropped.

I wonder if police would do a sting at these sketchy motels that a lot of these girls use and the motel / hotel staff know what's going on? If it wasn't for these providers at these motels, they would probably be losing a lot of money each day or maybe even go out of business.

Why would to continue up to her room if there's a cop in the lobby? His little head really runs his like!!

The incident report lists Hansen's employer as the Kettle Moraine School District. It gives his date of birth as Dec. 3, 1967; Hansen's Facebook page, with the profile picture being a photo of the gold ball 2023 state champion trophy, also listed his birthday as Dec. 3 on Thursday. The phone number for Hansen in the exchange with police provided with the report matches a number known to be connected to him.

The report said a female Brookfield police officer and several others from Brookfield and Waukesha set up a "prostitution operation" at an unnamed Brookfield hotel on March 28, posting a photo of the female officer that didn't use her face.

Hansen allegedly responded to the ad, asking about prices. He allegedly asked about "deep French kissing," whether the woman would require a condom, and asked for a photo of the woman, who used the name "Crystal. " When she asked for a name so she would know who was knocking at the hotel room door, he told her it was "Dan," the report said.

Arriving at the hotel at about 2 pm March 28, the report said Hansen told the woman he was nervous after seeing a police officer in the lobby. "Well they aren't here for me," the woman replied.

"Make me nervous to come up," Hansen said in a text exchange provided with the police report.

"Just come on up don't act weird," the woman replied. "You're not a cop?" came the question from Hansen's phone.

"No not the law I promise," was the reply. Police officers were reported as positioned throughout the hotel and in a bathroom of the hotel room when Hansen arrived. When he got to the designated room, after small talk about seeing the police, Hansen removed a shoe and presented money he'd kept in a sock, the report said.

"After seeing the money and being unsure if he was going to start undressing, I indicated to the arrest team to enter from the bathroom to arrest Hansen," the report said.

Hansen was taken to the Brookfield Police Department where he was booked and cited for a municipal violation of Brookfield's prostitution ordinance, and given a citation with a bond amount of $2,581 and a non-mandatory court date of April 24 and was released, the report said.
