This fella made the news and probably destroyed his life by visiting a "provider" in Brookfield. This article paints a pretty clear picture of what his experience looked like. The main thing that I took from this article is that he seemed to use the same texting language that I use. This is a very sobering experience.

Saw this headline as a friend of mine has a daughter who played for the guy. The story doesn't have many details of the operation other than it was on March 28th and 5 guys were busted. Anyone have anymore info on where and how?

I wonder if police would do a sting at these sketchy motels that a lot of these girls use and the motel / hotel staff know what's going on? If it wasn't for these providers at these motels, they would probably be losing a lot of money each day or maybe even go out of business.

Why would to continue up to her room if there's a cop in the lobby? His little head really runs his like!!

I bet there's more guys out there that pay to play than we think. Neighbor, cashier at the store, teachers, bus driver, etc.

According to a report released by Brookfield police Thursday, Hansen was arrested at an unnamed hotel on March 28 after arriving there following an arrangement to meet someone for a sexual encounter arranged over a website known to be used by prostitutes to advertise their services. The incident report lists Hansen's employer as the Kettle Moraine School District. It gives his date of birth as Dec. 3, 1967; Hansen's Facebook page, with the profile picture being a photo of the gold ball 2023 state champion trophy, also listed his birthday as Dec. 3 on Thursday. The phone number for Hansen in the exchange with police provided with the report matches a number known to be connected to him.

The report said a female Brookfield police officer and several others from Brookfield and Waukesha set up a "prostitution operation" at an unnamed Brookfield hotel on March 28, posting a photo of the female officer that didn't use her face.

Hansen allegedly responded to the ad, asking about prices. He allegedly asked about "deep French kissing," whether the woman would require a condom, and asked for a photo of the woman, who used the name "Crystal. " When she asked for a name so she would know who was knocking at the hotel room door, he told her it was "Dan," the report said.

Arriving at the hotel at about 2 pm March 28, the report said Hansen told the woman he was nervous after seeing a police officer in the lobby. "Well they aren't here for me," the woman replied.

"Make me nervous to come up," Hansen said in a text exchange provided with the police report.

"Just come on up don't act weird," the woman replied. "You're not a cop?" came the question from Hansen's phone.

"No not the law I promise," was the reply. Police officers were reported as positioned throughout the hotel and in a bathroom of the hotel room when Hansen arrived. When he got to the designated room, after small talk about seeing the police, Hansen removed a shoe and presented money he'd kept in a sock, the report said.

"After seeing the money and being unsure if he was going to start undressing, I indicated to the arrest team to enter from the bathroom to arrest Hansen," the report said.

Hansen was taken to the Brookfield Police Department where he was booked and cited for a municipal violation of Brookfield's prostitution ordinance, and given a citation with a bond amount of $2,581 and a non-mandatory court date of April 24 and was released, the report said.

NEW BERLIN A New Berlin woman and her mother who both were charged in a prostitution case two years ago entered into plea agreements Friday that reduced the counts against them to a single misdemeanor and saw them sentenced to jail time already served.

The Freeman isn't naming the women to protect the identity of a child of the daughter, as the initial charges against them alleged the child was a victim of neglect.

But the child's mother, 29, and her mother, both were charged with keeping a place of prostitution, child neglect and possession of narcotics in January 2021. The younger woman also was charged with a count of prostitution.

But both pleaded guilty Friday to a count of being party to disorderly conduct and were sentenced to time served in the case. That number was five days spent in jail for the daughter, but online court records did not indicate the number of days the mother served.

The charges came after police used a website known to be used by escorts and arranged a meeting at the defendants' home on Mayflower Drive in January 2020, outlining a conversation the officer had with the daughter discussing prices and sexual acts offered. She was arrested by police outside of her residence; her mother denied at that time that she knew of any alleged prostitution activities there.

Recorded calls between the mother and the daughter while the latter was in the county jail afterward show the mother asked the daughter if she was going to work as a prostitute, and a discussion where the daughter asks her mother to "save my stuff," believed to be a reference to drugs, the complaint said.

An interesting thing about this case is that there don't seem to be any news articles about it. I've google-searched a couple of times and came up with nothing. No real "need to know" just idle curiosity and I'm quite OK with those that do know keeping the info to themselves.

On March 17,2020, police were summoned to the house when the daughter suffered a suspected heroin overdose. The complaint said police administered three doses of Narcan to revive the unconscious woman; when police arrived, her 3-year-old daughter was reportedly playing with caps to syringes that were at the child's bare feet.

Police also learned the woman's mother was aware of alleged prostitution activities — both within their home as the father of the household worked third shift and on "outcalls" in the metro area — as well as drug related activities for both their personal use, the complaint said. Police had phone records of several conversations where it was said the mother would open the door for suspected "johns" and even talk with them, where it appeared the mother went to pick up drugs including heroin and cocaine, the complaint said.

Calls to attorneys for the women were not returned Friday.

District Attorney Sue Opper said the reasons for amendment of the charges was the treatment that both women had been engaged in.

"This case has been going on about two years and both have done substantial (alcohol and other drug) treatment and other treatment," Opper said. "It's not unusual when you see cases of prostitution there is oftentimes underlying issues causing the behavior and we were satisfied by addressing these behaviors we won't have repeat issues. They earned the lesser charge based on compliance with treatment and bail conditions and cooperating with police. ".

For those of you following along at home, New Berlin Tiffany and her mom were sentenced to today. Plea bargain reached for each resulting in only a disorderly conduct conviction, 5 days of jail time, time served for each. I'm assuming that means she got and stayed clean and gave up enough mongers to keep them happy. I'd love to know how many mongers got caught up in this. At least one member of the board mentioned getting cited. Lesson taught. No explicit texts to a provider even if you've seen them numerous times.

She did way better than a Walworth County girl that got busted. That one did some time on a multiple count felony conviction and was on probation for a couple of years. Several men got busted too.
