So yeah had my eye in this one. And everything seemed to start off good, once she finally responded 3 hours later. I got the donation which she said 200 for the hour. But when I asked for location to finalize she went ghost and never responded. Then I just replied ok then. And she started the whole convo over, but got she was in Jeffersonville holiday Inn. Just like almost all online scams, the cost of putting them out into the wild is nearly nothing, and one person or group can have thousands, or tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of ads out there.

It only takes a tiny percentage of people who view the ad falling for it to make it profitable.

Maybe we should have a separate thread discussing scam tricks.

I've noticed that a lot of the scam ad are now using 502 area codes, since out of state area codes have always been a big red flag.

Some are putting their location as "Airport" or "downtown" to look more local, but of course, every major market has an airport and a downtown.

I've noticed a few putting there location as "Edgewood" but where is that?

If the scammers keep finding people to fall for it, they are going to keep on doing it.
