With all due respect, "little black books" are not good business practice. You would have to use something with 256 bit encryption to make it secure if it got grabbed, and few people are going to go thru the trouble to do that. So if they grabbed one, they would start going through the numbers lying to the guys they talked to until they got someone to collapse and tell all, through threats or lies.

Now me personally, they can lie to me and threaten me all they want, I know how to handle it, my work is not sensitive, and I don't have a wife to drag me through a knothole if she gets pissed. I wonder why AMPs couldn't start a network and give guys a number to a location that is not advertised on the internet. I mean after a visit, the guys will be verified as having visited and being legit. So you have a place that you can only go to on your second visit and you use the AMP to find customers. It would make it safer for everyone I believe.

Not enough money, they need all the walkins they can get to support the entire network. Sadly your idea is smart in my opinion, but that black book would have to be massive, to make legit money, I'd figure tiger was doing a little over a million a yr in business, give or take that's an average of 15 guys a day at 200 a pop would be 3 k a day, for 365 days of the yr. That just average, I'm sure they have days that make 10 x that and I'm sure theres days they get less to. There little black book would have to have at least 500 to 1000 guys to even come close to that number, to make that kinda money.

That means when the operator moves cash around they have to be careful of being seen and followed. A high level of situational awareness is required to do this, and 2, making it as difficult as possible for the pigs to enter. That means having a very strong reinforced door with bars, a pain to operate but worth the effort, and having cameras that can show the operator exactly is going on in the area.

Once you have your entry under control, it is a simple matter to have your operators follow pre-planned procedures in the event of attack, I. E. , drape every customer and throw on a piece of lingerie. 30 seconds? So unless they have a warrant, and even if they do, the language barrier with the confusion and the reinforced door should be able to delay breach even with the use of a battering ram for enough time to be safe.

100 k strikes me as not a particularly large amount for what they are likely handling. Probably a lot of movement in and then out. 100 k must be an acceptable loss as opposed to the additional cost that security / theft / loss otherwise would entail with storage less secure than a bank. Could also be part of the "handshake" agreement with LE to show some sort of results for a bust in exchange for light prosecution after the headlines have been generated.

You may be correct! If I where an owner of such an establishment, I would have my cash in places never to be found! Just plain stupid to have a 100 k in an establishment that is maybe operating on the legal fringe! I have been to tiger on nice days when there are patrons and the door was propped open! If you think about that enough it will cause erectile dysfunction. There supposedly 2 patrons at Tiger and 2 at Sunny when things went south! They should share the experience with us! I suspect that after things cool down for a while the spas will be back. Just have to wait and see. Remember, the operators learn over time how to minimize the risk. They need 24 hour presence to prevent the skullduggery of the gestapo planting devices, strong steel doors that can delay entry for a few minutes at least, and someone in charge that understands how to run such an op.

They need better cash handling methods, like where to stash cash so the gestapo pigs can't find it.

That spa on Market street that had a front door also had a back door that was in the lesbian bar. According to reports on this site, there were some very young very hot spa workers there like Connie and also had two Cindy's. The younger Cindy was said to do everything asked of her. Ditto Connie.
