One point to add, there is a huge difference between an SO and SB / escort (latter two being prostitutes by definition). A true 50:50 split in everything including responsibilities and expenses. Man, you nailed it. Most of us monger for those very reasons. I think we'd all agree it'd be nice to have a regular friend with benefits, but the "quest" and someone different wouldn't be satisfied.

Lots of dudes and girls on Reddit would say that even sugar relationships aren't explicitly about sex for money.
