Perhaps, but going before a judge or jury and saying you walked into a stranger's room, and you had your wallet with money in your pocket and you just happened to lay an envelope on her dresser with a benji in it and then you started to take off your clothes or reach for her tits. Well, I would not expect any jury or judge would believe that laying down an envelope of cash on her dresser was anything different than laying down just the cash and conviction seems more than probable.

Heck as prosecutor, I would point out why the envelope, what magic does simply putting the cash in an envelope do? If the monger is just putting his stuff on her dresser, then why not just put the monger's cash on her dresser, if he was just laying it down there is no difference if the cash is in an envelope or not. The envelope could have been left in the guy's pocket or car, just like cash, so there is no difference between cash or cash in an envelope.

Do not feel safe with handing over cash in an envelope because it is the same as handing over cash.

No way one can hand over anything of value before the deed and then avoid arrest if she is LEO, or vice-versa.
