So I've been having terrible luck lately with making a good connection. I'm not sure there is a correct approach. I think more than anything it's timing. These providers are moody. You can say all the right things and they still go silent. I've had my best luck with new providers when I'm ready to go and call right after they post a new ad. That makes the timing difficult but they usually respond right after they post. Other than that, it's hit or miss as it seems most of them change their minds at the drop of a hat.
