And I now feel your concerns were not only dead right, they may have been understated. So I feel it best to ask you (or others) for further observations as to the risks associated with providing a photo to a provider. Are there ever any providers who can be trusted with our personal info? Are there certain traits that a provider exhibits that makes her more of a risk to our privacy or some future retaliation? I see any and all attempts from a provider to gain personal information on a client as an opportunity to extort.

If you use or give them your real phone number any provider can use Reverse Look Up to find your name.
If you send a picture to a provider, she can Google the picture just like we do all the time to find more information about the provider.

If your picture matches anything on FB, Twitter, LinkedIn or anywhere else you are fucked.

If you're going to a providers home, she could easily have cameras set up to set you up for extortion.
Getting to see her through a referral may not be a good idea either.
Don't ever give a provider personal information.
Many of our members have been extorted by providers they thought they new well. The fact is, they new them too well.

I wrote these words almost a year ago. Watching Gene the last few weeks just reminded me of this post I had written he was really ranting like he's been doing again, so thought maybe I'd bump it for review. He has in the interim told us the thing that "changed in his life" before he found the boards was a divorce, I was not surprised to read that when he posted it. I actually feel sorry for a guy who seems so wrapped up in seeing "tutes" and writing manifestos on those assignations, and that he spends so much time now out of state but still posting on the Grand Rapids section as if this is where his "life" is really is pathetic. Ain't no wonder he gets used so often by the ladies. I guess I bumped this maybe for his benefit in hopes he'll re-read and muse on it. I think the post below where he says he speaks for everyone on the board just made me think that if he really believes that he has lost touch with reality a bit.

I can't speak for what Hanginlow might be thinking, but here's my take. You seem to spend an inordinate amount of time and money on seeing prostitutes. A few of your past posts seem to indicate there may also be some self-loathing regarding your age or appearance. This "world" is littered with guys like that who thought if they spent enough money and praise on the favorite prostitute they could have themselves a "happy ending" like in the movies. And sadly they found out that when the money was gone so was lady, they're here to make money and move on not fall in love with an older gentleman who lavishes them with money, praise and gifts. My guess is you don't have much going on in your life once your shift at work ends, and you're filling that void on seeing prostitutes and writing "manifestos" on those visits. So while I don't know about specifically being played by any one lady, but sadly you'll most likely wake up one day more broke and broken than you were before whatever changed in your life that brought you to the boards a year or so ago.
