I responded to Nytehawk a few weeks ago about rates. He made a comparison between an AMP and a private provider. I was not making any such comparison; just expressing my confusion about the new rates. Now AlanDodson is making the same comparison between AMPs and private providers. Personally, I view them differently as I had much better experiences with private providers, so a higher price was justified.

On the other hand, ToddCincy is right in that 500 is just crazy. Not a ripoff as Alan says because you got what you expected. But as Todd says, if no one calls to spend 500, that price is going to drop soon.

My suggestion is to have two threads. One for massage parlors and one for private massage providers. At least we would be comparing apples to apples. Or is that peaches to peaches?

A rip off is when a provider flakes out or doesn't give you the services promised. Flexi went well over our timeslot and provided amazing services, and that was after I talked her down to $2. 4 from her asking of $2. 8 for hhr in her ad.

We all know the market sucks but its been well established that dudes will pay $1. 2 for a HE from a granny on a folding table with open doors separating you from other mongers getting the same thing (no judgement, you do you). So I don't see how paying exactly twice that for a beautiful 20 something yr old 9. 5/10 to do a fully nude body slide in a private hotel room on a real bed with almost full GFE is really that bad.

I'm not trying to be argumentative at all, I'm literally trying to understand if I'm being unreasonable in my thinking here. Anyone can feel free to PM me if I'm wrong.

We're in a bad market. We all know that. But you contribute to the bad market when you spend money on colossal rip-offs like this.

What if a girl tried to charge $360 to $500 for a HE, and her phone never rang? I'd be willing to bet that the price would come down eventually, or more services might be offered.

Gentlemen, you can't control the marketplace supply. You each have a say in the marketplace *demand*. Use that power wisely, and don't encourage extortion by opening your wallet when presented with an unreasonable proposition.
