Other tells are no specific city listed. If you text them mostly like the first response you'll get back is what city are you in. Scammers are smart. They have lots of experience with trial and error. One of the things I've noticed is scammers are using local girls photos while asking for a deposit. It's quite possible the local girl is also using the scammers ad and asking for a deposit.

Here's an example. List crawler site for Balt. Search the word "MOM" you'll see some ads come back that have the word divorced in black box type letters.
