This "hobby" is all about interpersonal human interactions and relationships, even if they are measured in minutes. It is difficult to divorce this entirely from humanity. The risk at ether end of that spectrum is not good: either you could become too involved or, at the opposite, devoid of humanity.

I am involved in the "hobby" in other parts of the country where things are nowhere near as grim as here. There we actually have some friendships between sober providers and responsible clientele who understand the boundaries. I think almost all of us here would be stunned that it happens. The fact that we recognize each other's humanity while respecting what the "hobby" is (and isn't) is possible. Not always easy but possible. I followed up with this one this morning. New post was published. Would absolutely not confirm with a pic. I agreed to meet her if she would come outside to my vehicle to greet me.
