Posts: 228Last we heard. She was a waste of time. But you never know. When money is needed. These girls will likely change there menu selections. If you do visit. Let us know. She was 1 of my hit list. But when reports came in. I scratched her off my list.

I just had this conversation with a provider. Someone who thought they were a lawyer, started spreading this erroneous info and for some reason, it stuck. I too play along, but an actual cop does NOT have to identify as a cop, that would defeat the purpose of undercover work. There are certain lines you can't cross but that's not one of them.

Likewise, Sexy Susan isn't going to get a call from Officer Jones at the CMPD requesting some intimate time with her.

LEO check. Where you grab her tits or she grabs your balls, just to prove neither of you are cops. No there is probably not any legal basis for this and it would not hold up in court. It does not prove anything if either of you does the LEO check. However, it can make the other person feel more comfortable in thinking that you're not a cop. I think that's the point in LEO check. It's a feel good maneuver thinking that a UC cop would not grab your privates. And if it makes either person feel better than do it for that reason. Then you'll feel better even if one of you is lying.

Posts: 136How in God's name would any undercover operation be possible if officers had to disclose, if asked, that they were cops. This whole thing is really stupid. But then again, I’ve yet to meet a provider who went to law school. A nurse and a teacher but never a lawyer. Haahaa.

If you ask most individuals this question, chances are, they would probably say yes. A surprisingly large number of people all over the country believe that police are supposed to identify themselves whenever you ask them. However, this could not be further from the truth.
Generally speaking, police officers have no legal obligation to identify themselves or the agencies they are affiliated with, even if you ask them directly.
Even though some specific municipalities require police officers to disclose their identities in public, to date, there is no federal statute that demands law enforcement officers identify themselves to the general public when asked.
While a police officer in uniform refusing to identify themselves is not usually such a big deal since the police uniform is a dead giveaway. However, things get more complicated when the police officer is dressed in plain clothes. Law enforcement officers wearing plain clothes are only obligated to reveal their identity when they are using their police powers.
Thus, a police officer can legally lie about their identity when wearing plain clothes, which is quite common when a police officer is going undercover to run a sting operation.
Shouldn't This Count As Entrapment?
If you end up being charged for a crime after you were arrested by a police officer who did not disclose their identity to you, shouldn't that count as entrapment? Well, that will depend on the circumstances of your arrest.
