During my last visit to a massage parlor, while we were negotiating, I was specifically asked to not share any internet reviews about my experience. Has anyone else has this happen to them? Or am I unique?

Not unique, but not common. I get asked that maybe 10-20% of the time.

If it happened to you, most likely you're not the only one. Like everyone commented, the providers are in and out all day with multiple guys.

I've had the same experience with AMPs, individual providers, and escorts. I don't believe them. They are just trying to make you feel special buddy. If you feel special, you'll most likely repeat, spend more. LOL. No one is unique in this hobby, but respect goes a ways and money talks.

I reviewed this place before. It's straight legit. Went 4 times. All legit. Asked, and got denied. Asked again, and said they don't do thay there. Asked again another time and even said no towel. New place opened in Excelsior off 41 and 7, Tonka Massage. Mixed clues from the outside, it is in a strip mall but the sign they bought and put up is very professional. Finally poked my head in yesterday to check it out. Immediately got the vibe the place is legit only. Mid-40's guy working the front counter, they have full-body, hot-stone, and foot massages listed on the menu visible on the front counter. The outside sign, the decor, the guy working the counter, all screamed legit only place. I chatted with the guy briefly to be friendly, then bailed. I will probably go for a foot massage at some point because the pricing is very reasonable for all their services and an asian foot massage by someone who knows what they are doing is awesome. I used to get that warning at Natural Therapeutics in Mpls. Earlier thread about getting into this "hobby" reminded me of that place since it was where I had my first success with L1. Prior to that it was DIY at Rosemary (which is now Trudys) which was my first AMP experience. This is what works for me, but everyone probably has a different approach that works for them that is tailored to their personality, looks, age, etc. First thing is when paying I usually tilt my wallet to subtly show I have extra cash. Usually I need the light to make sure I'm grabbing the right bills anyways. For me, I get naked and make minimal effort to cover up. Basically telling the masseuse nonverbally that I'm relaxed when it comes to cover. Sometimes I sit on the table and don't lie down until they come in. Making them cover me up, if they even do.
