Went out cruising Friday night. Didn't see much of anything until I was by the nexx on 27th ave. Saw one of my regulars but decided to pass as I was tired of seeing her. Kept going until 43rd st saw a couple sticks but mostly it was pretty dry out there. After about 30 minutes of driving and seeing nothing it started to rain. I started to head home but I wanted to drive by NE Miami Ct between NE 73rd st and NE 71st where the motel is. I have been seeing more girls there lately. What you are saying makes sense IF he stated the Palacio Motel. However he mentioned palacio de jugos, which is a restaurant. There isn't one on Unity but several on cross streets away from Unity. It would be nice to get the loc to this honey hole.

Trust me I have probably gone through some things with police a lot mongers could never imagine. One time I was followed by unmarked cop cars. Obviously I didn't know it was a cop so I took off in my sports car trying to get away. We were flying down the side streets an I was scared shxtless. I thought it was someone trying rob me. But finally they put their lights on to pull me over and then just stayed behind me for a few minutes an left.

As some of you know I have gotten close to a few girls throughout the years. A few years ago I think I was being watched by the police as I use to pick up one of my regulars that I still see now from a trap house. She use to live in the Trap house with her then boyfriend. I think the cops had been following me the other time because I would pick up and drop her off from there a lot. But anyways one day I got a call from Metro west detention center and it was her. She told me that the cops had done a raid with the SWAT team and found everything. I decided to look up the case and see what evidence they had collected. They had been staking out the house for over a month and had undercovers coming and going from the house.

The scariest moment that almost made me quit mongering was when I was on 27th ave and I picked up a girl on 43rd st. We were headed west on 43rd when a cop car came out of nowhere. They said I ran a stop sign. When they went back to the car I asked her if she had anything on her and she said yes. She then put the bag she had under her seat. When the cops came back they started asking us a bunch of questions. This was before I was more versed with the law so I answered their questions. They then ran both our IDs for warrants. When they came back they told her to exit the car. They placed her under arrest because she had an active warrant. They then asked if she wanted to keep the bag with all the drugs in, she said no and they gave it back to me without checking it. I was able to leave with a running a stop sign ticket. I thought I was going to jail for sure that night.

I'll end with this. If your going to go out mongering then expect to eventually get stopped by the police. You need to give yourself the best advantage to get out of the situation by learning laws, Keeping quiet, Buying a Dash Camera and staying away from some of the crazy girls (Which I need to do a better job of LOL). But I totally understand why some people don't like picking up girls. The risk is not always worth the reward.

Absolutely correct sir! On the street prowl, don't pick up any girl that doesn't smile and is happy to see you. Pissed off or agitated looking SWers should be a Big Red Flag, I know, I've had enough encounters both good and bad to size up a girl's disposition in a matter of seconds.

If they are friendly, chatty or look clueless like their new to the game, then a good time can he had.

Just don't ever let her take charge of where you're going or how much she expects to be paid. Important.

I would always suggest a nice tip but only for a good eager to please attitude and good performance. A worth it SWer will understand this and roll with it.

And on the dash cam idea, I have two dash cams, one in the front with the monitor off when I'm mongering, I'll even cover up the little green actively recording light.

And a wifi controlled cam on the back widow that quietly on. Both cams record video and audio.

And I like to plug all my devices into a 3-way with an on / off button for each one, wired into a constant 12 v supply, so the cameras are not powered by the ignition but can be left on while parked. They're just 5 v so it would take a few days to drain a good car battery.

Notice I have drilled holes into the negative sleeve of the 12 v connectors for set screws, these screws snuggly tightened will keep the plugs in place so there's no loss of contact, a must for always on dash cams.

And when I'm somewhere that may spur an encounter with LE, I'll have one of my digital voice recorders to turn on and stash on the visor or in my shirt pocket to get clear audio of exactly what was said, just incase they turn off my dash cams and there's a problem later.

Another good idea is to Live Stream the encounter with LE on Face Book, then there's a video in on the internet you can down load later incase you're taken down town and your vehicle is towed.

Your in a public place and the policemen are "on duty" so you have the right to record yourself interacting with the police or anyone else there.

But, take it from someone who has had to challenge what cops said and did on a stop, the cops can order you to turn off your devices or step out and away from your car, this is where a concealed digital recorder comes in handy. I have multiples of these as the fact get blurred in the aftermath, but a clear audio recording of everyone's words can go a long way in your defense.

Bottom line here, pay attention to everything, the SWer, the cops, where your money and valuables are, who's hanging around, etc. And record it all.
