A lot of people hobby together and have private telegram chat rooms and discord. Some people meet up together and go hobby together. Me personally I run solo. Yea I've always hobbied solo before but I'm single now and easing on some hang ups now I guess. The girls often ask if I'm coming in solo or if this is part of a friends' group outing so I gather group hobbying is common enough. Discord is probably the last place I would use for this type of activity. The chats are monitored regularly. Unless someone completely vets out every member, I'd just move to a Telegram or Signal group chat. I was invited to a questionable activity Discord server once and I only replied once in there. I got a warning that they will ban my account if I joined another similar one again. Once the server is gone, you can't recover anything on Discord either.

I agree don't do discord. I was in the main Bay Area group that split off from peach group before we got a nice email saying we were all banned from there. We lost EVERYTHING. FBSA and much more. It was under the impression it was another crazy monger who reported the group.
