Once upon a time I did visit the Camden strolls, but got a heads up on the situation in this forum and avoided testing out whether it might be true. LE can pretty much do anything it pleases for whatever reason it pleases, and I would always want to play it as safe as possible and not have my "police worries satisfied" by an opinion of someone in this forum.

As for a M&G, I wouldn't pay for one out of sheer principle, but why the suggestion to get a hug and kiss at the M&G? What legal reason is there for that?

So I signed up right after 4th of July because they a special going on. Even with the discount I think it was still too expensive. Granted I was looking for something unique. I don't want to dig into the mechanics of lowering risk since that's discussed ad nauseam all over the SB threads, with everyone screaming "opsec" like they just discovered the word.

However, I do want to agree with you about LE priorities. They are whatever the LEO you happen to encounter are. I look at it like this: Cops and criminals are about 'half a turn of the screw' from being the same thing. They're both lazy, looking for the easy score, and when challenged or feel disrespected, respond aggressively. I've come to this attitude by my exposure to LEO, and I've had LEO folks tell me that only about 10% of the police are actually in it to help people.

I think it's a bad idea to assume that LEO is just too busy doing something worthwhile to concentrate on you.

I don't know anyone who lost a job over an SB arrangement. I know lots of people who are unemployed because they turned up positive in random urinalysis. I know plenty of curvy single mom SBs who avoid alcohol and recreational drugs and know how to stay UTR. Police are too busy with real crime to get into one-on-one sugar arrangements, unless it involves other things like human trafficking and drugs. Always insist on an unpaid m / g in a social setting. Most high paying jobs, even under guaranteed contract, have a moral turpitude clause. If I had one of those, I would also abstain from being a SD in the first place. A fun piece of ass every now and again is not worth risking a lucrative livelihood.
