99% certain this is a deposit scam. There are some keys to look for in an ad.

First, "add me on Snapchat". In my experience the deposit almost always have that line in the add. Second, all of the positions called-out. Every deposit scammer I've come across recently has nearly the same positions listed. Same with anything bare or without condom. Third, if you do feel enticed to send a text, the reply you receive will almost always be something along the lines of "where are you located?" which is an odd question. If you give a general location, they'll send an address to a hotel which is somewhere near you, then ask how soon you can be there. They'll start getting aggressive about it, too, telling you they need confirmation right now. These are all cues that it's not on the up-and-up.

What's up with people accepting only gift cards as a form of payment, I feel like there is a scam or scheme going on with this. Providing receipts before meetup or taking a picture of the gift card before meet up. Doesn't make sense to me compared to paying in full cash.

Yeah, I feel like not all are GFE despite what the agency may say by text, so you have to verify beforehand through reviews or elsewhere.

For example, not all of them like DFK or seem to be up for good service which can potentially make for a pretty lackluster session.

I've had better experiences than not but only after double-checking as they have some of my type for sure now and then. Has been times where I haven't verified services and felt like a waste.
