I read that review on Kiki the other day. He has a long review history dating back to 2010 and seems to have good experiences overall throughout the years. Nothing about him screams like a shill like some of those accounts on TER. If I were to see Kiki, not that I will after that horrendous review, his review seems legit enough for me to stay far far away. In the time I've been on review sites, discussion about mongers drawing attention to themselves has probably been among the top 10 subjects. And I am totally in agreement that the best way to go about one's business (and in life in general), is to not draw attention to what one is doing. However, I think this really is not as important as the space we give it. From a personal safety standpoint, I have not heard of any mongers getting busted because they were caught outside of some apartment complex trying for the umpteenth time to use the call box. Cruising Western Ave, for sure, but apartment entry ways are mostly safe. And from the larger perspective, I doubt that the otherwise law-abiding tenants at said complex are going to be pushed over their tolerance-boundary into calling in the vice squad for some ridiculous number of call box attempts. Perhaps they'll be pushed into calling their building management's repair line to get the box fixed, but given the frequency that these events occur and the duration each malfunction seems to last, they've probably given up hope on that, too. Although when we're in the act of going to a building it seems like the only ones using the entry keys are mongers, in truth other people doing random stuff at the building are encountering the exact same situation, and none of them are trying to be discrete or worrying about using the box 5 or more times in a row.

I actually have and had friends at the Norton, New Hampshire, and Sawtelle known locations, and have had the same issues getting in to see them as I have when visiting some girl. But I never give it a second thought when I have to have some actual friend throw me a key out a window to visit them.
