My apology for assuming you were a newbie.
I had no idea that AMPs have been operating in the USA as far back as 1971.
The earliest I remember AMPs in Ohio was during the 1990's.
Back then, the Warren AMPs advertised regularly in the sports section of Cleveland newspaper.

No I've only been in Ohio a couple of years. Over the years I've been in TN, MS, ARK, LA, MO, and others. I thought I was the earlier guy who got blasted for an excessive tip.

She doesn't look like a provider of massage.

My hunch says she will take your money and have her strong-armed friend escort you out of door.
If it's any consolation, she does look like a Breck Shampoo girl.

Never meant to suggest that you were a newbie.

By the way, the first AMP you visited in 1971? Was it located in Ohio?
You are correct on the demand for a tip upfront by an AMP masseuse in that circumstance.

First not a newbie except to the forum. The question is how do you get them to say do FS without paying the tip before hand? Never been able to do that, they always want the tip upfront. By upfront I mean after the flip but before the FS.

Looking at being in the west suburbs later today, is the massage itself decent? Any chance of a BBBJ from carolina or the other girl in her spot? Or is it massage and handy only.
Thanks in advance.

The idiom I used, "stand in his socks," is an expression developed by usage that presents a figurative, non-literal meaning to the phrase.

I am certain you know that.
Nevertheless, I appreciate your attempt at humor.
Humor is a welcome if not necessary interjection in the midst of discussion often taken too seriously.
In my view, a tip is based on the quality of service delivered, not anticipated.

I offer it after the service is delivered, and gauge it to how closely the service came to my liking and satisfaction.
As I mentioned previously, I was not there, in the subject newbie's stead.
So I am without any rational basis to judge the tip he paid.
An increase in standard would require that almost every other visitor subsequent to the newbie pay a similarly higher amount.
There is too much angst here about upwardly driven prices, in my view.
