Here, we've been afforded an opportunity to seek out those things we are interested in and even to experience those others that perhaps we were never aware existed or could be of interest to us. I am grateful for the knowledge, experience, and anecdotes that are shared here and which have been very helpful in making my efforts more fruitful. Many of you already know that I am more than happy to share my own experiences when my time permits. Having said all that, I may now be risking taking a stance that may prove unpopular with some. That is, I don't fucking care who gets what for free, who pays less for what, or whether my mileage varies. It's part of the game we play and I am not troubled that others are more astute at receiving the aforementioned gifts from the phenomenal women we all seek. If anything, God bless them for getting freebies and gimmies. Not a single one of us would decline such an offer in exchange for a review that is honest but favorable. All I propose is that we take this forum for what it is, an opportunity to share and build community. If some members want to spend hours debating, arguing, and spewing hateful rhetoric then I will simply ignore it and mine the information that is useful for me from their comments. Believe me, I have never had a bad experience with any of the ladies or places that have been shared here favorably before. So who gives a shit what the transactional component of the arrangement was between a member and a provider? Please, just focus on the purpose of this forum and put suppositions and jealousy aside. I think the purpose of this forum is to provide accurate information and to be helpful to fellow mongers. It is not helpful when someone is being paid (paid in free service, or kickback or whatever) to post false reports in an attempt to increase business to a specific girl or group. I'm not sure if over-hyping a spot would directly result in that spot getting shut down; However, I tend to avoid certain spots that are concurrent in monger reports. In all my travels, I've noticed that Mongers tend to follow each other--That includes the lurkers as well as the avid report writers. I'm not into fist-bumping the last guy coming out (take that as you will) and the next guy arriving. I prefer low-volume.

I don't like crowded restaurants, waiting for a table, distracted servers, etc. . . Finding hidden treasures and a businesses slow times is my current joy with this hobby.

Concerning over-hyped places getting shut down more so than others? I think San Diego's spa history can speak to that. Many spas that are rarely reported or have zero reports have been shutdown for various reasons. The spas mentioned the most get the most attention when something happens because they were so popular, but how many times have we read about a spa being closed that we've never been to? Short memories will have to look at this forum pre-pandemic, but pay attention to future closures from little known spas.

BTW, Rafela was recently closed and now reopened under new ownership. Same name and same services in case anyone is wondering. You may be pleasantly surprised with some of the ladies you'll see there.

Back in the Hana spa days I know this got them too. They had the hottest ladies and provided the best experience, especially compared to other spots in the convoy area. All the attention contributed to them closing and relocating as Pine.

Not sure there's a way to avoid this though. Seems like anytime someone posts an overwhelmingly positive review about an AMP or HX / PD / Indie girl, it inevitably leads to a lot of attention. Results in more foot traffic, eyes on a spot, menu changing, GPS etc. Can also rarely lead to other providers stepping their game up to compete. It feels like once the "cat is out of the bag", you just got to enjoy it though. I often question if it's worth leaving a review or report on some ladies, since it's already been said by others, so why restate or confirm it? It's a tough balance to maintain sometimes since some posters definitely have ulterior motives on here and I am not up to speed with some of that drama that may have played a part in VIP / NLBC closing.
