I find it very easy to just tell them H_ll No. If they press the issue, or lower their price for upfront money--I tell them that they are scamming, and to go pound sand. If we all do that many of them will get the message.

Simple. Don't do it. If they are requiring a deposit, it's a scam and you'll lose your money every time. Find a provider that doesn't require a deposit.

I get that these girls mess with each other. The only reasonable explanation is that someone has been posting numerous ads everyday with her pictures and the number that shows up on that text message to make it seem legit and then sends that text to clients that text the number. Or I guess it could be a boyfriend that got ahold of her work phone and sent texts to people. Either way, I had a pretty sketchy session with her a while back where I walked out about 10 min into the session. Hopefully, for her sake, this is just someone messing with her / screwing with her business.
