I simply say no for obvious reasons as you mentioned. I tell them if they can't understand that reason and it's a deal breaker, then good luck. MANY often override that requirement and still decide to see me. The few that don't doesn't bother me. There are many other gals out there to worry about one or a few who will lose business for that requirement. I WILL NEVER send my photo via online or phone to anyone.

Maybe just reverse image search a pic of yourself? Pick one that is deep in the search results and doesn't look very professionally done. Add the word "selfie" to your search might help. For extra points, use an image editor to flip the image / tweak color / crop, etc. Then test the edited photo on reverse image search to see if it shows results.
