Posts: 290To the "all-knowing:" Unlike others, there are those that lead other lives than post on this site. Those who asked for replies via PM have been replied to. I WILL NOT ANSWER ANY MORE PMs!! Since there are so many "all-knowing" persons, it's obvious you're not aware of the moderation rules on certain topics.

Posts: 56Let's get to the bottom of this.
No pun intended. If you have information about a provider share it with the community, chances are we are all separated by less than 4 degrees. If you have useful, tangible, credible information then please share it. But I'll say this with no argument needed. Speak up or shut the fuck up! It's utter none sense for you to raise a flag then ghost people when they ask you to share. I'm done. Sorry for the curt language normally not my style.

Posts: 231You are not the one that made the warning, so how do you know that the warning is about STDs? It could be something else. You come in all smug and arrogant and think you know everything when you are just as clueless to what the initial warning was about. Maybe Judy is selling our personal information, maybe she has the place bugged and is working with the police because she got busted. Perhaps she is the next Orchids Day Salon and we are the next Robert Krafts? I don't think I am any better than anyone, but when someone with 7 posts calls me out for being stupid and throwing in bruh and LOL when he does not know any more than I do, then that is irritating, unappreciated, and unnecessary. To be honest, I don't really give a crap. I will continue to see Judy, but it would be nice if the board served its purpose and people posted useful information and not something cryptic to make everyone paranoid.

Posts: 231st if you think just because I have 7 posts that means I'm not educated on the risk of stds I can see why you think you can't catch anything from bbj type behavior.
2nd, you can catch the herp even if the chick is A symptomatic at the moment. (Can't believe I have to tell you that) not to mention Chlamydia and gonorrhea, tho the risk is less for those last 2 but possible.
And 3rd respectfully, seniors are not all knowing Gods. We all breathe the same air, brother. Just monger carefully. If it's worked for you this long then keep doing your thing.

Posts: 231Ok person with 7 posts. What should we be worried about then? Please tell us since you seem to be so enlightened. I have been messaging with several other senior members, and we have no clue what the issue is. As I pointed out in a previous post, this hobby has risks, and I am well aware of them. All of them. I have been doing this for decades.

Bruh. LOL. Are you serious? Doubt saliva is what anyone is worried about.
Why would someone need to be careful from getting a rimjob and receiving a BBJ? Saliva transfer is probably the least riskiest activity. This is more hazardous to her since she is licking possible harmful bacteria, but relatively safe for the hobbiest.

3. I DMed the monger that he made the warning to. He replied to me that he DMed the member who made the warning, and he has not responded to him either.
Perhaps he is busy and has not had the time to check his messages, but you would think if someone made a warning and asked for a private message that they would respond.

The careful should stay home on the couch and wack off. I am not sure what the point of your post is? If you do have useful information, then share it. No need to be so cryptic.

I did a little more looking up the probability and got this from the Mayo site and I am summarizing. Unprotected transmission is about 10% and 70% of that, the provider wasn't showing symptoms. No details on protected but I can only assume lower transmission rates.

This is a good reminder for our brethren to get tested regularly. This game can serve up all kinds of curveball, but with all of the anonymous testing and treatment options available, this is one we can stay ahead of.

Posts: 96Thank you for the reply! I just wish I knew what the real risk was. Anyone have first-hand knowledge of catching something when fully covered?

Posts: 110Catching Something while Covered
It is possible to catch something even though you are covered. Herpes is a very real concern, but it is less common than 1 out of three. Still providers that serve BB are more likely to have it. Herpes is also one that is easier to get even though you cover.
The best you can do to avoid it is to know what it looks like and be willing to back away if yor provider is showing signs of a flairup. You may end up still paying for the date but better safe than sorry.

Posts: 1Recently went in for a physical and urine test came back abnormal. Turns out I got Chlamydia. I haven't been tested for STDs in years, as I never had symptoms, they just happened to find this. I suspect its recently developed because my SO tested negative for STDs in her pap a few months ago. I've been with a handful of providers in the last 6 ish months. The SO and I fortunately haven't had sex in a little bit (due to her unrelated health issues), so I have an idea who I may have gotten it from.

Posts: 96Anyone gotten an STI while being covered / online info vs reality?
A huge fear is condoms can help but not totally protect from several STIs the biggest worry being Herpes. Googling scares the crap out of me bc some stats show 1 out of 3 people has Herpes! Wouldn't that mean every provider has herpes? Well of course not. What am I missing? Are the transmission rates and info online not accurate and meant to scare? Has anyone gotten anything if always covered for oral and FS? Really a major stress. TIA.
