1st if you think just because I have 7 posts that means I'm not educated on the risk of stds I can see why you think you can't catch anything from bbj type behavior.

2nd, you can catch the herp even if the chick is A symptomatic at the moment. (Can't believe I have to tell you that) not to mention Chlamydia and gonorrhea, tho the risk is less for those last 2 but possible.

You are not the one that made the warning, so how do you know that the warning is about STDs? It could be something else. You come in all smug and arrogant and think you know everything when you are just as clueless to what the initial warning was about. Maybe Judy is selling our personal information, maybe she has the place bugged and is working with the police because she got busted. I have been messaging with several other senior members, and we have no clue what the issue is. As I pointed out in a previous post, this hobby has risks, and I am well aware of them. All of them. I have been doing this for decades.

Depending on what it is, sometimes you have no choice but to be cryptic so you don't run afoul of board rules. I appreciate anyone trying to look out for us in any way they can. Just because we aren't careful doesn't mean we should let each other walk into danger if one of us knows something that can prevent it.

I would normally tend to agree with your assessment, but.

1. I have seen Judy for years and never had any issues.

2. I DMed the person to clarify his warning, no response.

3. I DMed the monger that he made the warning to. He replied to me that he DMed the member who made the warning, and he has not responded to him either.

Perhaps he is busy and has not had the time to check his messages, but you would think if someone made a warning and asked for a private message that they would respond.

I did a little more looking up the probability and got this from the Mayo site and I am summarizing. Unprotected transmission is about 10% and 70% of that, the provider wasn't showing symptoms. No details on protected but I can only assume lower transmission rates.

Recently went in for a physical and urine test came back abnormal. Turns out I got Chlamydia. I haven't been tested for STDs in years, as I never had symptoms, they just happened to find this. I suspect its recently developed because my SO tested negative for STDs in her pap a few months ago. I've been with a handful of providers in the last 6 ish months. The SO and I fortunately haven't had sex in a little bit (due to her unrelated health issues), so I have an idea who I may have gotten it from.

This is a good reminder for our brethren to get tested regularly. This game can serve up all kinds of curveball, but with all of the anonymous testing and treatment options available, this is one we can stay ahead of.
