As far as the city, stay clear of things on the west side (Beatties Ford Rd, Wilkinson Blvd, Freedom Dr) but you likely won't encounter many girls over there. Carowinds area (theme park, think Great Adventure) is crawling with blue light specials and that's on the SC border.
